Bleeding Disorder News # 86: LadyBugs Feature, Clinical Management for GT, Meaningful Advocacy
We are nearing the end of 2024 and couldn’t let the year come to a close without saying a huge THANK YOU to all of our donors, supporters and friends of CHES! This one quote from the After the Shock Inhibitor Camp offers a demonstration of CHES’s impact: “The only way out of darkness is light, which is this camp.”
CHES is grateful to each and every one who attended a CHES event, amplified the community connections, and supported the critical and unique ways in which CHES is providing education and awareness within the bleeding disorders community.
As we set our intentions for 2025, we are hoping to attract new donors and supporters to our expanding slate of programs and events. We welcome whatever you can afford, every dollar makes a difference. CHES Events
CHES's women's event, LadyBugs, happened last weekend in Wilmington, NC in partnership with the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina (BDFNC). We welcomed 40 women with bleeding disorders for empowering sessions tailored to meet the educational needs of the community. We could not have done it without the support of our National Sponsors; Hema Biologics, Novo Nordisk, Sanofi, Takeda and the local Sponsors; BioMatrix, CSL Behring, Next Step Pharmacy, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer and Sanofi. A special thank you to Dr. Rebecca Jameson and Dr. Jill Johnsen who led LadyBugs educational sessions and to Gillian and Nick from BDFNC for their collaboration in running this event!
"This event was SO GOOD and very empowering. [We] were honored to be guests. We learned so much! But more importantly we met new friends and connected with other women. Our sisters."
