EquiPaths Analytics is group of clinicians, caregivers and patient experts who are committed to ensuring the voices of those living with rare diseases are truly heard through evidence-based action.

The Conversation (Round Table)

The series concludes with a live virtual round table on August 18th at 7:00 AM PT, hosted on Zoom, bringing together patients, caregivers, and clinicians from across the GT community.

This final episode moves beyond structured storytelling and into real conversation. It is where the ideas from the series meet lived experience in real time, as participants respond, reflect, and challenge what has been shared.

Together, the group explores what resonates, what feels incomplete, and what still needs to change in how Glanzmann thrombasthenia is understood, discussed, and addressed.

This is not about reaching a single conclusion. It is about putting experience into the same room, making it visible, and allowing it to be heard across perspectives that are rarely connected in one space.

The Bleeding Edge is the first podcast series dedicated to exploring Glanzmanns Thrombasthenia through the voices of patients, caregivers, and clinicians.

Rather than focusing only on the medical definition of a rare bleeding disorder, this series explores what GT looks like in real life, how it is experienced across time, and what it takes to live within a system that is still evolving in its understanding of the condition.

Across four narrative-driven episodes, the series moves from recognition of the condition, to its full day-to-day impact, to the realities of navigating care, and finally to a reframing of what current and future care should look like.

The series is grounded in lived experience and informed by key clinical and natural history data, using both narrative and evidence to build a fuller picture of Glanzmann thrombasthenia.
We want your voice in the room!

Following Episodes 1-4, The Bleeding Edge wraps with a recorded virtual round table conversation bringing together patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers for a candid, no-fluff discussion about what life with Glanzmann thrombasthenia actually looks like.

This is a space for real experiences, real perspectives, and real conversation across the full spectrum of care and lived experience. Together, we’ll unpack the themes from the series and get honest about where the gaps still are in understanding, treatment, access, and support.

We’re building a conversation that hasn’t really been held this way before, and it only works if every voice is in the mix.

Participants will:

  • Share lived experiences, clinical insights, and care perspectives

  • Respond to key moments and themes from the podcast series

  • Join a broader conversation on visibility and progress in the GT community

  • Help shape a documented discussion rooted in real-world experience across patients, caregivers, and providers
