- helping the bleeding disorders community receive vital opportunities and support

What is CHES CHAMPIONS?

CHES CHAMPIONS is a fundraising initiative to raise much-needed funds to help CHES Foundation continue to serve our bleeding disorders community.

Each year we will have a new funding theme and amount. This year we aim to raise $40,000 to help families attend our programs and events.

2023 Fundraising Goal

$40,000 in Travel Funds

Why is this necessary?

Funding that once helped families travel to our life-changing events has been drastically reduced. This devastating blow has left these families, who are already burdened with medical expenses, in a state of uncertainty, with no means to attend.

We firmly believe that attendance should not be reserved only for those who have the means to cover travel expenses. We hope that you agree with us!

It‘s difficult to do. It takes up too much time. It’ll cost me loads of money…

NOT TRUE

It’s really very simple and fun – and you don’t have to spend a dime! You’ll also receive all the support you need from our amazing team at CHES.

Here’s how it works:

We simply want to raise $1,000 from each Champion. Each Champion picks ten people to sponsor them for $100. But don’t worry if you fall a little short of your goal – every little bit helps! Here’s what you need to do.

  1. Pick a Fundraising Activity! Your fundraiser might be a mile run or a bake sale. Don’t worry, we can help you with ideas!

  2. Identify just 10 people you know – friends, family, coworkers, school - who would be willing to support you for a good cause.

  3. Schedule and complete your fundraiser within one month. Promote it over social media.

Toolkit

We also have a CHES Champions 2023 Toolkit. Some scripts and tools you can use to approach your family, friends, and colleagues. You really don’t have to think about a thing!

Remember – this year, every dime of the money you raise helps families attend programs and builds community support networks!
