Bleeding Disorder News # 113: Glue Crew, Giving Tuesday and Save the Dates for 2026

Friday's BD News #113: CHES Community Newsletter!💜
The end of 2025 is quickly approaching. My hope for 2026 is that we can show up for each other in honest ways. Join a Glue Crew.

What's a Glue Crew? I am so glad you asked. The Glue Crew is what I call the volunteers who keep CHES events moving forward as staff are running around doing all the other critical pieces that happen behind the scenes. Your Glue Crew might be the hemohana that shows up with activities for your child(ren) to distract when a sibling is in the hospital with a bleed. Your Glue Crew may create a meal train for a seasoned member of the community who is recovering from an ankle surgery and needs help with daily meals. Your Glue Crew may be the group that offers moral support and late night bat signals that something is wrong and they just need another hemomom to call and verify said issue. The details of your Glue Crew aren't as important as the Showing Up for Each Other.
Happy December!
Be kind to each other,
Heather
