The following is an important update from Novo Nordisk concerning the company’s 3000 IU vial for factor 9 product, Rebinyn®.
In May 2023, Novo Nordisk launched the Rebinyn® 3000 IU vial size and the demand for this vial size has outpaced our expectations. This has resulted in a temporary shortage that will lead to intermittent supply over the next couple of months. We will be able to maintain our overall supply of the 500 IU, 1000 IU, and 2000 IU vials, which can be used in combination to make up the appropriate dose for patients who had been using the 3000 IU vial. Patients who have questions about how to make up their dose should contact their healthcare provider.
Novo Nordisk recognizes the inconvenience this may cause you and we are working hard to resolve this issue to establish a consistent supply of the 3000 IU vial size. We are committed to acting in your best interest and Novo Nordisk remains steadfast in our commitment to this community.
